Angry Birds

I decided that it was time I got a bit more organised and get some stock cards in for birthdays. Having two little boys I thought that Angry Birds would be perfect. I cased this card from Pinterest, unfortunately couldn't get back to the original blog to credit the creator, so if it was you let me know!

I've made up a few of these cards, they are nice and simple punch art, so next time I'm going to get the Glitterboys to do it themselves!

Teeny thank you cards

I know - more In Color (I've finally succumbed to the american spelling!).  These are just totally simple thank you cards using the Delicate Doilies stamp set and the current In Colour inks. These are just 3 inches square, and I stamped the envelopes (which are from Stampin' Up!) to co-ordinate.

I did say in my last post how much I was enjoying the current In Colours - well, here's another card using Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple card stock, ink and designer paper stack.

I spotted this layout on Pinterest but can't find it now to credit the original poster, sorry! The stamp set used is Summer Silhouettes, I really love this dandelion head style stamp - I've used a teeny bit of glitter on this one too!

In Colour pinwheel

I've been asked for a pinwheel make and take for a workshop later this month, so I had a little nosy around and found Kirsty's amazing blog and came up with an incredibly similar version of a card I saw there :-)

I am totally smitten with the current In Colours, so used gumball green and primrose petals with a teeny bit of raspberry ripple for the centres.

I've only just got hold of the Curly Cute sentiments stamps - I have no idea how I lasted so long without them!

I used crumb cake for the base, and some of the gorgeous bakers twine too. I was able to get teeny strips from the very vanilla card stock using my new Stampin' Up! trimmer - it really is fab.

International Bazaar Owl treat box

While wandering through cyberspace I found this darling little owl box on Ilina's amazing blog. I bought her template and was delighted to be able to knock this one up in just a few minutes. I did have to cut up a couple of the gorgeous Internation Bazaar papers, but I think it was just about worth it ;-)

It's here! The Stampin' Up trimmer

I don't know about you, but I seem to have been on a quest for years for the perfect trimmer, and have lost count of the number that I have had! At last Stampin' Up! have brought out their own trimmer, and it was with great excitement, and some nervousness that I opened mine last week. Well, the verdict was quickly in - and I love it! It feels so well built and has got some fab little features.

Features of the All-New Stampin’ Trimmer

• An extra-wide 15.9 cm cutting base and an extended 39 cm ruler
  • The extra-wide cutting base provides a large work area and is marked in 4 mm increments, allowing for small measurements.
  • The right-side grid helps you measure and cut very thin strips.
  • The extended cutting arm has a stabilizing leg to provide a sturdy and steady cutting surface for longer cuts.
  • When fully extended, the extended cutting arm sits flush with the trimmer base, providing more accurate and consistent measurements across the entire surface.

Another note card set

Here are some co-ordinating cards made using the Happy You stamp set. This is a fab set which has 8 darling little images for all occasions. They also have a sentiment on each image but it's one of the current hostess sets, so you can only get your hands on it by having a party, or joining my stash club - hint hint!

 I think I may offer these as a class, but will use the In Colors - I adore the In Color ribbon this time so any excuse to use it is pounced upon!

Christmas Gift Box

I found this marvellous tutorial for a Christmas gift box, so thought I'd have a go! I used some retired papers - I couldn't resist the glitter, along with some of gorgeous gumball green ribbon! The sentiment is from the Perfect Punches set, I just adore this Christmas one.This should be quite simple to change to make different sized boxes - I just have to get round to it!

In Color Note Cards

I had great fun playing with the new In Colors and the gorgeous new elegant butterfly punch to make these really simple note cards. Our notecards and envelopes are lovely quality and only £5.50 for a pack of 20, so great value too.

For the swirly circle background I used the fabby Confettit kit, that has 6 dear little background stamps for just £11.95. I also used this on the envelopes for a bit more colour, and Teeny Tine wishes for the sentiments.
